Castle in Rhino
Hello and welcome to my first blog post! I am learning Rhino, and as a warm-up I created a 3D model of a Castle. It is inspired by a medieval fortress. I mostly used extrudeCrv to create the forms here, but did also use revolve and loft to make some of the more intricate parts of the castle. Challenges: I really struggled to understand how to precisely move things into place, so I ended up just using the gumball handles and manually doing it. Successes: My favourite part of this project was creating a texture by making real bricks/stones. I think it turned out great.
